One of my favorite Etsy purchases in 2020 was from Procrasticplanner, Etc., on Etsy. My friend Thien-Kim told me about the Write Drunk, Edit Later Round Cork Coasters for Writers/Authors. I knew than that I had to have them. Shop owner Adrienne Mishel is a Black business owner in Charlotte creating wonderful planning items for the writer who procrastinates.
The coasters are super sturdy, very well made, and take an incredible amount of abuse from my coffee/tea habit. The quality craftsmanship is just one of the many reasons to share this amazing North Carolina maker.

Coasters aren’t the real draw of the shop. Procrastiplanner identified a problem: the writer who procrastinates and created a product to help them. By developing tools that help writers stay organized, Mishel is empowering the arts community. There is a large array of stickers for planning, washi tape for helping organize and inspire, and items to help authors plan their book launch. Shoppers will also find digital assets for the non-paper planner.
Mishel also has a new line of lifestyle stickers featuring Black women who are changing the world. The “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” caught my eye a few days ago when I browsing her shop. I knew in an instant that these stickers were the perfect gift to send to colleagues starting a new business supporting Black students. I can’t wait until they receive them.
Ms. Mishel’s estimation on shipping and delivery is clear for each order. Her store’s items are well packaged and arrive in great shape. The postal service is still slow so have patience as once it leaves her shop deliveries are at the mercy of a backlogged system.
Drop us a line if you are procrastinating while writing the next great North Carolina novel or place an order so you can be super organized with goodies from Procrastiplanner, Etc.!
